Delta Omega is launching a fundraiser to support those impacted by the wildfires on the island of Maui. In addition to the tragic loss of life, and the destruction of homes and property, thousands of people have been displaced. Recovery will take many years.
Delta Omega is asking all chapters to raise funds to support those in need, whether through fundraising activities or reaching out to chapter members. To assist with members, you can find a digital flyer here.
All funds will be donated to the
Hawaii Community Foundation / Maui Strong
in the name of Delta Omega.
HCF is working in close collaboration with state and county leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community members to get an understanding of the quickly evolving priorities. HCF has a four phase approach to disaster response: click here.
HCF will not be collecting a fee for donations to the Maui Strong Fund; 100 percent of the funds will be distributed for community needs.
